Travelling to Head Office

From the North

Take the A487 from Machynlleth, through Talybont. Go through Bow Street, turning left onto the A4159 (signposted Llangurig/Cardigan); continue for 0.25 miles. Turn left at crossroads signposted Penrhyncoch and IBERS (Institute of Biological, Environmental and Rural Sciences). Take the first right turning, and the FUW building is the first building on the right side of the complex.

From the East

Follow the A44 from Llangurig to Aberystwyth. Having passed through Capel Bangor, bear right at Lovesgrove roundabout onto the A4159, signposted Bow Street/Machynlleth (A487). After approx 1.75 miles (through Capel Dewi) turn right at crossroads, signposted Penrhyncoch and IBERS (Institute of Biological, Environmental and Rural Sciences). Take the first right turning, and the FUW building is the first building on the right side of the complex.

From the South

Travelling on the A487 approaching Aberystwyth, continue forward onto Antaron Avenue - A487 -entering Southgate. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A4120 (signposted Llanbadarn Fawr, Machynlleth A487). At the Morrisons roundabout take the 4th (last) exit onto the A4120 (signposted Llanbadarn Fawr, Llangurig) and enter Llanbadarn Fawr over level crossings. At both mini roundabouts, bear right onto the A44, (signposted Llangurig). Continue for about two miles and take the first exit at the roundabout onto the A4159 (signposted Bow Street, Machynlleth). Continue for approximately 1.75 miles (through Capel Dewi) and turn right at the cross roads signposted Penrhyncoch and IBERS (Institute of Biological, Environmental and Rural Sciences). Take the first right turning, and the FUW building is the first building on the right side of the complex.
