If you need advice on pre-planning applications, reviewing constraints, project viability, and master-planning, then our new partnership with RML Consultants might be just the professional helping hand you need. The FUW is therefore excited to announce our new partner contract with the company who will deliver town and country planning services for members predominantly in North Wales.
RML was established by Managing Director Ivor Richards OBE, in 1984, to provide multi-disciplined engineering, landscape and environmental consultancy. Originally specialising in brownfield remediation, the company gained a reputation for high-quality design in sensitive landscapes and for applying the principles of ‘working with nature’. RML has published national guidance documents based on decades of experience and technical expertise.
RML also carry out Pre Application Consultation processes in line with the new 2015 Planning (Wales) Act, as well as planning applications, design development, Design & Access Statements, and draft S106 obligations.
Principal Planning Consultant Shân Wyn Jones, M.R.T.P.I said: “Many projects have elements that require more than one permit, and seasonal surveys or even formal Environmental Assessment may be needed to support the application. Our multi-disciplinary team can advise on the complex interaction between the elements, to produce an efficient programme of works which makes best use of our clients’ resources. So if you need assistance in any of the planning stages, we’d love to hear from you.”
FUW Membership and Operations Manager Caryl Roberts added: “We are pleased to welcome RML to our growing list of partners that offer special discounts to our members. I hope our relationship with RML goes from strength to strength.”
FUW members can arrange the services through their county office.
