FUW Academi membership gives our younger members access to a range of exclusive benefits including a monthly copy of Y Tir agricultural newspaper.  In addition to this you’ll get an email bulletin sharing the latest information on grants, training schemes, partnerships and other agriculture opportunities.  

Members can also take part in farm visits and events across the whole of Wales. Events and trips inspire young farmers to learn about different ways of diversification with insights from micro-breweries through to wind farm owners. Past excursions have included touring the world renowned JCB factory in Uttoxeter and attending industry shows at the NEC.

Current FUW Academi members enjoy a range of trips and educational visits to farm businesses. Getting a chance to meet other farmers in their area provides opportunities to discuss the similar challenges they face. 

 

Trips have also been arranged with politicians in attendance opening up the dialogue with policy makers and giving younger members the chance to have their voices heard.
