FUW Insurance Services is offering a rare opportunity to take on a challenging role as its Managing Director. The successful candidate would take on a leadership role to further develop this already successful insurance brokerage.

Working closely with a panel of specialist agricultural and commercial insurance companies we have access to a wide range of market leading products and deliver great value for money for our policyholders. We have built a reputation for offering an informed and professional service to agricultural, small and medium enterprises, commercial and personal lines clients throughout Wales.
Candidates need to have:
a proven track record in insurance and financial services;
an understanding of insurance markets;
demonstrable business acumen;
people management experience
stakeholder management experience
an ability to work efficiently under pressure
The post will be primarily based in Aberystwyth but will require significant travel across Wales whilst allowing for agile working to meet business needs.
Fluency in Welsh is desirable but not essential.
Candidates are required to submit an application which should comprise of:
A statement outlining how they meet the criteria outlined in the job description (in no more than 5,000 words)
Their CV (no more than 2 sides of A4)
A short letter (one side of A4) outlining why they believe they are the best candidate for the post.
The package on offer is within the range of £100,000 - £120,000 OTE (on target earnings) per annum – depending on experience and capabilities. It includes a car allowance and a contributory pension scheme.
Annual leave is 20 days per annum in addition to normal bank holidays.
