Press Officer - Short term contract

We have a short term opportunity for a media-savvy professional to join our team in Aberystwyth, although other locations may be possible.

Working with our directors and outward facing policy team you will be the go-to person for all media relations and also for all copy origination and production.

You will manage all media engagements and deliver social media content as part of wider communication campaigns.

Personally you will:

  • Have a good knowledge of the media scene in Wales and good contacts.
  • Be comfortable writing news and opinion pieces, often to short deadlines.
  • Able to converse fluently in Welsh, whilst the ability to write in Welsh is highly desirable.
  • Have a clean driving licence

Reception Support and Administrator

Short term contract 

To start as soon as possible until the 15th of May 2019

Location: 1x Caernarfon 1x Ruthin 1x Carmarthen

Salary: To be discussed, dependant on experience

The successful candidates will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will preferably have experience working in an office. You would be responsible for face to face, verbal and written contact with FUW members. You will be involved in the process of welcoming members to the office, organising appointments and administrative work.
