DATE SET FOR FUW FLINTSHIRE AGM

The Farmers' Union of Wales' Flintshire county branch will stage its Annual General Meeting at Caerwys Institute, Caerwys, on Monday, October 5 at 7.30pm.

The guest speakers for the meeting will be FUW vice president Brian Walters, Clwyd YFC county organiser Eleri Roberts and Iwan Jones from the Calon Wen organic milk co-operative.

County executive officer Marian Jones said: "All members are welcome, and with a wealth of experience in our three guest speakers, it promises to be both an interesting and informative evening.

"Following the speakers' addresses there will be a question and answer session, where members will have the opportunity to contribute to the debate."
