What is Glastir?
Glastir is the new all Wales Agri-Environment Scheme being introduced by the Welsh Assembly Government. It is a 5 year whole farm agreement and replaces Tir Mynydd, Tir Cynnal, Tir Gofal and the Organic Farming Schemes.
Glastir is made up of two elements - an All Wales Element and a Targeted Element. Further details of the All Wales Element are available by clicking here and details of the Targeted Element are available by clicking here.

The Welsh Assembly Government has announced that, following requests from the industry, the deadline for expressions of interest for the All Wales Element of Glastir has been extended. The new deadline is now Friday 6th August 2010.
