Andrew Paul Gurney

Andrew grew up in Ormskirk, a market town in West Lancashire and moved to Aberystwyth in 1998 to study for a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Countryside Management at the Welsh Institute of Rural Studies, University of Wales, Aberystwyth.

Since graduating, he has worked for a number of public sector organisations before joining the Farmers' Union of Wales in November 2008.

In his spare time, Andrew is a licensed Motorsports Association Rally Safety Marshal and assists on numerous stage rallies in the local area and further afield.  He is also an active member of the local Mini Owners Club and attends local transport displays along with his wife and her classic Mini.

Andrew is married to Liz, a care assistant, and has a dog called Roxie.
