Press Officer - Farmers' Union of Wales

The Farmers' Union of Wales was established in 1955 in order to protect and advance the interests of Welsh farming families. We now have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join the Press/Public Relations Department at our Head Office in Aberystwyth.                                                                

Applications are invited for the post of Press Officer for the Farmers' Union of Wales, Aberystwyth. This is a challenging position and the successful candidate will need to be highly motivated and have a proven track record in journalism/PR and events organisation. The ability to work with a small team, stimulate positive media coverage, and react effectively to media enquiries, as well as the ability to write and produce a variety of material, is essential.  The ability to speak Welsh would be an advantage. The salary will be commensurate with experience.
